But, here some are anywany. New Year's Resolutions. What we want to change in our lives for the new year. Well, here are mine.

- Don't take any crap from anybody.
None of this "uh-derrr, my friend likes you" crap. I'll just stop them right there and go into full-on rant assault mode. Words will be flying like bullets, people. I someone even thinks of doing anything to me, i'll make sure they regret it.

2. Care about things.
Go to everything for the school i can. Dances, plays, anything.

C. Stick with my plans.
If i want to do something, i should try my best to make it happen. I can't do that wholeputting it off until it's impossible to get done thing anymore. It's time for me to be better at not doing that.

-B. Advocate for myself more.
I'm getting better at it, but i still need to do it more.

Alright, i think that's all. I hope i fufill my goals for the year, and i hope you all do too.

{Ba-Dink] Of the Year Awards, Pt. 4

So, here we are. The end of the end of the year. Bleeeehhhh, right?

Alright, this is the part in the show where i recap my life. Here we go.

January: Uh...read the blog.

February: Not much

March-May: Said goodbye to many many people who i loved and cared about. That sure was fun! Got out of school, packed up te house

June: Moved back to beautiful Oregon. Things felt werd for awhile.

July: Continued to feel weird.

August: Got ready for scool at Hilhi

September: Started school. Met tons of kickass peoples.

October: Did more crap, had first choir concert

November: 16th birthday. Did more crap at school, Thanksgiving

December: Started new trimester, met newer people, Christmas, blah, blah, saw tons of movies.

So...that's it. Onto news events.

Biggesst non-surprises of the year:

The Spears family? Still a circus
Amy Winehouse? Still a mess
Paris Hilton? You know what
Lindsay Lohan? Actually, i haven't heard much about her in a while. But, probably going to rehab in about 2 minutes.

Sad moments:
Uh...me moving
Peter Boyle dying
oter people dying

Things i'm looking forward to in 08:
That stupid writer's strike ending
17th birthday
seeing more movies (Be Kind Rewind, Cloverfield much?)

Dumbest moment of 2007:
The "hoax devices" from Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and the way that the media had no damn clue what they were talking about.

For Shizz Up the Spout

So, as there was no snow at all yewsterday, i went with the usual people and saw Juno. Let me start by saying it was great. Ellen Page was fantastic. Her performance made me fall in love with her.

What's even better than the movie is it's soundtrack. Well, it's not that much better than the movie. But still, very very good. All the songs went perfectly with the movie, and they're all very cute songs. At least the Kimya Dawson ones. If this movie isn't nominated for any kind of award, i'll flip a piano sideways.

1) "Who's the father?"
"It's Paulie Bleeker."
"Paulie Bleeker? I didn't think he had it in him."

Not Once!

So, with the threat of a snowstorm coming today, Sam, Liz and I decided to see a movie yesterday. We chose to see Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. And i am telling you rigt now, it is one f the funniest movies i've seen this year. A few parts almost made me die from laughing. And it will give us three some new thing to say in front of other people, which will prompt them to say "What??" I really want to see it again.

So, so far, there isn't any snow outside, as of a half-hour ago when i checked. If i do not see Juno, i will cut a ho. Honestly. I will.

1) "It's so cold!"
"He needs more blankets!"
"It's too hot!"
"He needs less blankets!"
"It's too hot and cold at the same time!"
"He needs more blankets and less blankets!"

'Ow Bou' A Bo'le, Misteh?

I got up at the incredibly reasonable hour of 5 and listened to the radio until i was "woken up" by my dad.

We went and got my prescription, and i ate. Then we went to Target to finish our shopping. Finally. Well, we did. And then we went to Safeway, and bought 6 bottles of various soda.

You know what? No one cares about this. I think i'm going to stop right here.

Zombie Day

I really felt like one.

1st period, I just helped move wrestling mats and played basketball. Woo...

2nd: watched a lame version of 10 Little Indians.

3rd: Party

4th: This was actually one of the more interesting parts of the da. I had finished the TESA test the day before, so i rambled around on the nets for a few minutes, then went back to the classroom. He gave us all a piece of paper with Christmas song titles replaced with yankee words! Like:

Bleached Yule (White Chrstmas)
Caribou with Vermillion Probiscus (Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer)

Me and the fellow i was working with won the competish, and we got a big Hershey's bar, which we broke in half. Yaaaay.

5th: Mehhhh...so boring.

Afterschool: Walking by, telling people "Merry Christmas" and them replying. It was like instant joy.

Also, i have plans to see Sweeney Todd tonight. Oh yes, son. And i hope i get to see Juno sometime during the break. And hang out with someone. For serious. It will be two halves of a thrill/

1) "And it's all-inclusive. You know what that means!"

Tim and Eric Awesome Show clip: Last Resort Fighting

Both clips from TAEAS:GJ!

Just Letting You...Be Aware...

I saw I Am Legend tonight. I liked it. It kept my attention for an hour and forty minutes. So...check it out.

I would have rather checked out Sweeney Todd, but oh well. It opens tomorrow! Me happy.

So, tthe last day of school before break is also tomorrow. I have things to do over the break.

Finish reading To Kill a Mockingbird for English
Buy presents for people
Uhmmmm, that's it. Or all i can think of right now. Pity.

New years resolution!!!! Actually, i won't share it now. Later. Jeeze, so impatient. Everybody just needs to calm their faces. Take your meds. Chill.

So anyway, Ben took me home after rehearsal today, and i was almost running to my house, and tripped over the curb. My hip has a pretty nasty freaking wound on it. It's pretty gross, and it hurt for a while.

So, there isn't any zero period tomorrow for school, so that's also cool, for people who have it anyway. Good for them!

Wow. Alight, that's all i have to talk to you all about today. Err...End of the Year Awards coming up soon, so be excited for that. And the X-mas report, and all that good stuff i always do. Just giving you a heads-up. Aight, byesies.

1) "She's not my girlfriend, okay? And i doubt she gave you the stink eye. That's just the way her face looks, you know? That's just her face."

What I MIGHT Do Today

So, there i was last night watching Dreamgirls (pretty cool movie, by the way), and i get a text from Sam saying "let's go to a movie tomorrow." And we texted back and forth. So, i might go see Alvin and the Chipmunks today. I'm nt even certain we're seeing that, i just don't want to see I Am Legend without mom, 'coz she wants to. I mean Alvin might be okay. It's got Jason Lee up in it. So...he'll be alright.

That's what i might be doing today. There you go. Now let the world spin madly on (i love that song now).

Aw Grotten

Concert at the Grotto was tonight. I was away from home 12 hours. Jeeze. I finished my school day, and went to the choir room until mom got there, changed, at got on the bus. We drove there, and sang various songs for about 10 seconds each. Twas very fun. We got there, warmed up, performed, and went around the place for about an hour. We went to the petting zoo, saw the coolest donkey of all times. We got back to the bus, and we got cookies from Ms. Butler (out director)'s mom. Nice of her. Then we got home. AKA school, and got our things and left. We got dinner at Round Table. And now I'm here. Bloggin' it out! Anyway...

Remember the other day how i did dance practice for Luck Be a Lady the other day? It was crazy. The choreographer kept us until about 6. It was nuts. And we also leanred about the the first 15 seconds of the song. And the moves we're doing have to be done really, really fast. Uggghh. It will be sooo tiring. Five times. But, if i commit, i can do it. True dat.

1) "What song is that?"
"It's from High chool Musical."

Waiting Until 2050

Yesterday was nice. I slept after i ate breakfast until 2. Liz had to work in a few hours, and mom and i went to do things after we took her there.

We went to Marshall's to get me PE clothes, and i did. We went to FYE (formerly Wherehouse Music) to trade in my old Serenity DVD, and get the newer one, and something else. I traded ole 1-discy in, and i got Absolution from Muse and the second season of Upright Citizens Brigade. I watched all of the first disc's commentary last night, and the audience Q and A on the second. The Q and A is amazing. Especially the ending.

16 days until Christmas.

5 days until The Grotto. 9 days until our other concert.

Sweet Jesus.

14 Simple Days

Wahhh. Christmas break is in two weeks. Only two weeks. This makes me excited. For super duper serial.

Why am i home now? There isn't any men's rehearsal today. So...whatever.

Today was quite odd. The first half was alright, although in choir, we had our accompanist there, and we all sounded different because of it. Even me. And after fourth period, we had an assembly. In the middle of the end of the day? Weird...

After that, we went to fifth for longer than we were supposed to. It was really boring. It made me feel like it just wasn't Friday.

So, Sam came over yesterday after the partial movie, and he recorded his new voicemail greeting to the tune of Hey Jude. This made me want to do something similar. I'm kind of looking for songs now. When i find one, i am so getting on that shizzzz...

SOCIETY! Into the Wild, Beard

Today was the first time i walked out on a movie. It was Into the Wild, and it was not that interesting.

It was about a guy who just decides to burn $20,000 dollars and lives in the wilderness for 2 years. He wanted to go to Alaska and live there. Did he get there? I guess he did. They show him there in the beginning. Still, it was very pretentious, and Sean Penn-y.

The guy in the movie went off on this minute-long tirade on society, and he grows a beard. Blah. Walked out an hour into it. It was actually really boring.

Eh, well. It was free, so...

Here are all the D's songs i've listened to this month so fat.

July, July!
On the Bus Mall
We Both Go Down Together
Please Daddy (Don't Get Drunk This Christmas)
(today's) Song for Myla Goldberg

There you guys go. Have a nice day.

Tuesday, December 4, 2007

Oh...Okay. So, Thanks for Telling Me That...

I arrived a tschool and went to the commons to get my new schedule. My first class was PE. This is great. There are people i know in there! Gasp! Oh, and remember that one guy i talked about a few years ago? He's in there too. I don't expect this to go entirely well, but whatever.

Drama: So far, i think this is going to be great. Although, there is one guy whom i don't particularly care for alreaddy. He's the one who cannot sing anything that resembles a note in the muscial.

Choir: Ben's only in it for 2 days, then switching to concert choir. What the H? Anyway, our next concert is a week from Friday. I just realized that when i was told. So...eh.

Soph English 2: We're reading To Kill a Mockingbird first thing. I think that's going to turn out well.

Algebra 1B: My only friend in there is leaving in a few days, because she's dropping out (why?) and some annoying dude sits right next to me. And we are apparently going to get alot of work in there. Boy howdy...

So, there that is. The second half of my day isn't the greatest, but maybe it'll change. Let's hope to god it does.

I still have no idea what to do for my open 5th period. I might ask wha Ben's doing. He might be going home for an hour. I doubt it.

But anyway...i started watching American Gun for the third time last night. So...i got that going on...

Nothing else to say. But I start school tomorrow. Whoo-pie.

Another Goal I Won't Reach! Woo.

I wanted to listen to all of Sufjan today. I did not. Ah, well.

I did listen to a Decemberists song today though. A Christmas Decemberists song, nonetheless.

Another goal i plan to achieve, but probably won't anyway. I'm going to set my "most posts in a month" record, which is 26, i believe, with 31. 1 post per day. I'll make up for a day without postage with 2 posts the next day, or however many. I want to do my 500th post in 2008. Or the end this year. It will also break my "most posts ina year" record. 199-200. It will be awesome.

1) "Yeah...we were together...at time."

Tim Wears His Dad's Dirty Socks

...He does.

Oh! 2 Things to Do!

As you may or may not know, tomorrow is the start of December. Thus, the start of me celebrating the Christmas holiday. Tomorrow, December 1, i plan to listen to all 42 tracks, or all 2 hours and 8 minutes of Sufjan Stevens Christmas box set. I also plan to listen to a different Decemberists song each day. Or two, i have enough. 66 to be exact. It will be an event for us all, my friends.

So, finals ended today. The only one i'm almost sure i didn't do good on is my Biology final. It was lengthy and difficult. I found out i got 130% on my english final. I feel so special. I'm sure i did well on my others.

Anyway, this means that on Tuesday, i start a new rimester. Here are my classes.

1. PE
2. Drama 2
3. Choir
4. Algebra
5. Open (There weren't any classes i wanted. I don't know what i'm doing then.

Well, i hope next tromester will be as awesome as this one. See you later.

It's Okay. Clearly!

So...um...yesterday, one of my friends had the idea to see a movie with Liz, Cody and I. We we were trying to pick one to see for a long while. We finally settled on the new Staphen King movie, The Mist. Oh my god. Worst mistake ever. I didn't really want to see it, but it was free, so...i went.

I do have to say though, it was the funniest movie this year. Honestly, they could have saved it for TV. It was such a B-movie, it was incredible. The only good acting was done by Marcia Gay Harden. The only things that happened were: People got killed, a little boy cries, and the religious lady preaches.

It was a really fun movie to laugh out loud at though. Seriously, we did. And it wasn't just our party that was. It was just about everyone in the auditorium.

Anyway, finals started today. 1st period wasn't too hard or too easy. The choir final was really easy. And the Algebra one was easy too. I expect English and Biology to be the same. But English should be really really easy, and i might get it done in 2 minutes. I expect Biology will be a tiny bit hard. But, meh.

Alright, i have a concert report to write for choir. I must leave you now. Byesies.

1) "Oh yeah, smear the blood all over the windshield with the wipers. Then you'll be able to see!"

And, What is a Monkey Saw Used For?

We got the outling for our final test in Tech Theatre today. Wow. All i can say is i will probably know about maybe 1 thing out of 320394 we have to learn. Errrghhh. But, speaking of theatre, we blocked Oldest Established today after school. I'm probably not going to remember all of it tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, that's when i have to give my book report. I read a pretty interesting book. Give a Boy a Gun by Todd Strasser. I'm not going to force you to read it though. You don't have to. I'm ready for that report. It's just the teacher calling you to his desk and asking you question about the story. It sounds like not a big deal at all. I'm goonna be alright.

Speaking of alright...i can't think of anything to say. Good-bye then.

Hey...It's T-Day

Wednesday: Last day of school before break. 1st period: Did homework, then...nothing. 2nd: Took quiz, then did Grammar book lesson.

3rd period: Our choir director gave us an assignment. Make a Thanksgiving presentation with some musicaliy in it. The group i was in, The Fighting Mongooses, put on a nice show about family and togetherness. And...we won. I've been told it was mostly because of my rendition of "Another One Bites the Dust". I, being the modest one, denied this. And continue to.

So, giving thanks. I didn't do it this year, but whatever. We just started eating. It wasn't traditional at all.

Thursday

So, as soon as i wake up, i have to ride along with dad to go to the store. For heavy cream, coffee creamer, and toilet paper. Then we were on our way home, and dad got a call from his sister king where the house was. And found out that my grandparents were there already. We got home, and they took out parking spot. Fun! Anyway, we gabbed, and gobbed, and more people arrived, and then we started eating. And socializing. We played some Taboo, and Scattergories. Great fun, those were.

I ate...and then i didn't feel like eating. It was rather odd, if i do say so. because that NEVER HAPPENS ON THANKSGIVING! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAAAAAT?

Anyway, then came the winding down portion of the day, where everybody left. And now, i'm all alone in this room. But now it's just the immediate family in the house, and i'm glad/disappointed it was over quickly.

Thanks, Andy. Tanks

Oh...did i say concert report on Monday [laugh]? I...meant Wednesday!

So anyway, nicest band ever, blah blah blah. So, we got Liz from work and and went on over to the Crystal Ballroom. We heard the band was going to start playing at about 9:30 or so, and we were right. They walked out to the Rocky theme in boxing robes, down the aisle seperating the crowd. They opened with Selfish Jean, which was rocktastic. They had a pianist come for the tour, who's name was Claus. During the piano solo for Good Feeling, Fran made us yell at the top of our lungs, along to the music, "CLAUS1 CLAUS! CLAUS!" Like "a viking that was just robbed of his fish, and pissed."

As some of you might know, the Crystal Ballroom is known for having a "bouncy floor". A wood that sort of bounces when you jump on it hard enough. So, during the last chorus or Why Does it Always Rain on Me?, they made us jump. It was really really fun, and my legs hurt alot afterward. Also, they played All I Wanna Do is Rock, which made guitar-man jump off the stage, and walk throught the crowd. Right by my sister, who touched him. It was really great fun.

And, a few days after this happened, I get a MySpace message from them. Subject: Well? Body: How was the show? I responded, and then they responded back, and then i did too. This might be turning out to be a beautiful friendship.

Now, I Don't Expect a Miracle

Although, i did get something close to one. Here's the diddly-o.

So, my mother and i went to the Travis session. We got there a little after one, then waited for about an hour outside in the cold and wet. But we got coffee earlier, so it wasn't too bad. They finally let us in, we sat down in the second row on the very end. Right in front of the speaker. They dimmed the lights, roadies came in, and then Gustav welcomed us to the session and it went underway.

Before they played their first song, some man interrupted Fran and told him he was from Glasgow, in some sketchy area. He just stood up to say hello. The man might've been a teensy bit drunk, but whatever. They opened with Sing, which was great. Then, Fran tuned his 12-string for Closer. After, Fran brought something to our attention. Apparently, Mr. SayHello was talking on the phone during that song, and Fran sort of got pissed at him. That felt somewhat awkward, but Dougie relieved the tension with a joke.

They then played Side, which was also awesome. Then they played 20, a song i haven't heard before. Then, as what Fran called, "a tribute to the shit weather," they played Why Does it Always Rain on Me? That song is fantastic as well. That was their last song. Then they left for about 5 minutes, then came back up the stairs to sign and tke pictures. Mom and I got up to meet them, and some lady gave us pictures to sign. They signed those, we took a nice picture with us holding bottles of wine. Although, it came out fairly blurry on our camera. We chatted for a minute about their video with Demetri Martin in it, and Fran asked me if i was going to the show tonight. I said, "You know, if i had money, i totally would." To which he responded, "Don't we have some tickets for him?" And me and my mother each recieved a pair.

So, I'm goping to see Travis tonight. I am amazingly happy. They were the nicest guys ever, and i'm happy to have met them. For serious.

I'll give you a concert report tomorrow.

My Crane Wife...

So, i haven't really been in the best of moods the last few days. So, that's why i haven't updated in four days.

One of my choir buddies was doing origami yesterday, and i just happened to score me a paper crane. Let the Decemberists jokes commence. I plan to take a picture with it in my hand.

Well, i might just have the best Sunday ever. Why? My mother enetered to win tickets to a 94/7 session with Travis, and she won. Her prize was for one and a guest, so i'm going too. It's going to be amazing. If not, i'll die in a box.

I Got Alot to Say to You

Not really, but anyway...

We Hilhi Sparts have the day off today. Why? Because we respct our veterans. Suck on that, other schools.

I don't think i'm quite ready for Thanksgiving. I mean, we're going to have 16 people at ou house, as our last tally states.

So, last night on a random whim, i decided to go to Meredith Palmer/Kate Flannery from The Office's Myspace. Her song was by a band i've never heard of called Sweet Diss and the Comebacks. I heard the first few seconds, and though, hey this is cool. I went to their page, and the first blog post said that the song i had heard a few seconds of was in a documentary about The Office's fans. It's on Youtube for free, and it's called Fandomicity, if you want to know. That's where i heard the song, "Pam Pong" for the first time all the way through. It's really great. I've heard it about 124723 times since.

New favorite song ever.

Stricken

So, the Writer's Guild of America started their strike yesterday.

The Office, Scrubs, 30 Rock, Lost and Heroes are definitely having shorter seasons.

Scrubs only has a 12-episode last season.
Lost only has an 8-episode season
Heroes? 11.

Just give them more damn money and get this over with, please. I can't take it.

Anyway, yesterday and today were great.

Yesterday, after school, we made the spotaneous decision to see a movie. Matian Child, it was. We got there at the theater an hour early, so we watched Across the Universe for an hour. Martian Child starred John Cusack as a science fiction writer who adopts a child whp believes he's from Mars. It was cute, i suppose. It was trying to make you cry, and i would've if i felt like it.

Today, after school yet again, Sam took Liz and I to Wendy's. I would've eaten my fries faster if wasn't laughing so hard at the stuff people were saying. It was great. It was fan-freaking tastic.

But then, not all of yesterday was that cool. I went to school for a period and 10 minutes, and i went to a doctor's appointment. That took all the morning, but then we had to go to the dagnostics lab and take my blood, which i hate with a passion, as you should know. But they did it, and it didn't hurt as much as i remember. They also wanted a urine sample. I wasn't able to provide one for them, so...i kept the cup. Haha. Yeah, i did. Also, when i was in the lab, there was a little child screaming at the top of its lungs, because it did not want blood drawn from it. It would freak me out, if I hadn't done it before.

When that was done, we had a "lesson" to go to, to learn how to use an insulin pen. That didn't take long either. And after that, i had to go to the last 30 minutes of 5th period. So...yeah. All in all, not the worst day ever.

I'm Going to Kill You For Real.

My birthday: Well, it was the best one in a while. No diagnosis of a disease i'll probably have forever, no puking my guts out over a porch of a portable classroom, no moving to some mystery state, none of it. I got home, we had Taco Nell for dinner at my request, and i opened prezzies. Season 3 of The Office and...my own phone! Hummina-whaaaaa?

Anyway, that is the worst part of my birthday. The phone. You'd think it wouldn't be, but it is. Why, exactly? Well...

We tried to activate it this morning, and...it told us to enter some numbers, and it became a blank white screen with a black bar across it. What the crap? So anyway, we called tech support, and we have to get it to an "authorized dealer" and get it repaired or replaced. Fun, i know. Gun, please get me one.

Friday: We saw the play. "Out of the Frying Pan," it was called. It was about 6 actors who all share an apartment, and it was very funny. A few of my friends were in it, so i had to go, if not to support the school's theatre department. We got home after, and i finished the first disc of The Office.

Today: Woke up, did some phone stuff, went out to pick out new glasses frames. I got me some neat ones. Too bad you won't see them! Waaaahahahahahaaaa. I'm kidding, maybe you will. If you live near me. Or go to school with me. I'm getting them in a week. Be ready for it...come on bring it. Now i'm just rambling. And blathering. Have i mentioned how much i like the word "blather?" It's a great one, it is. You know what kind of sounds like blather? Banjo. I love the banjo. It can make alot of songs great. Except when it's out of place. There's nothing worse than an out of place banjo. Just plucking away. It's like singing "Joy to the World" by Three Dog Night at a funeral, you know? Anyway...

1) "I'm going to punch you...in the tooth."

- The Office (The Convict deleted scenes) Why did those last 15 minutes? Did Ricky and Stephen know how long American TV runs for? If so, why on Earth did they write so much? Maybe they just though they were really great, and wanted to make the actors do a ton of extra work. Jerks.

Band of Horses - Is There a Ghost

For a song that repeats the same words for three minutes. This one is great. And so is its video.

That...Was a Practice Roll

Auditions = nightmare. Complete nightmare at that.

It happened so fast, and i was scared beyond all recognition.

The songs started, and i had no clue where to come in, first of all. I came in an inkling of a second late. I didn't sing on-key some of the time. My voice cracked twice.

Anything that could've gone wrong, did. It was just awful. And knowing me and my luck, that is most likely the only bad audition they'll have today. I just feel like curling up in a ball and folding in on myself.

Bahh...you fools git no special things. Me no feel like it.

Now i must sing something i know...and that is easy. Or just keep listening to Band of Horses.

I Better Not Get Needles Stuck in My Eyes...

Auditions are tomorrow. Or, at least they start tomorrow. And you know what?

I'm not at all ready.

I've only heard the song once in my life, and it was on Tuesday. I believe. I think i'll get a ton of practice in tomorrow with other people. Let's hope i'm ready. I'm second to audition on the first day. I'm so screwed, it's not even funny. I've been trying to find any sort of torrent of the soundtrack, but i've got nada. I can't even find a measly midi file of the song. Sometimes, the internet can be so worthless.

I don't really know why, but yesterday did not feel like a Saturday. Probably because i didn't go to school on Friday. But anyway...school tomorrow. I don't know why i feel this either, but i kind of want to go to school tomorrow. I really haven't felt that way in a long time.

Bah...what's wrong with me?

The Shins Continue to Amaze

this song from Tim and Eric...is great.

Which Comedy of the Night Did it Right? 10/25/07 Edition

New feature alert.

I'll go throught the high and low points of the NBC comedies of that week, and name the winner.

Last night's was Scrubs by the way. IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW ALREADY.

Anyway, new one next week.

You Got Alot of (Optic) Nerve

If my typing contains multiple errors, please excuse them. I had an eye doctor appointment, and my eyes are still a bit dilated. So...here we go. This might be fun.

So, the season premiere of the last seasn of Scrubs was on last night. I don't know what changed, but that was great. It literally had laughs a minute. Already better than last year. Totally.

And the first half hour episode of The Ofice this year. Finally, a solid episode containing nothing that seems like the writers almost had no clue where they were going with the story. It was pretty nice, in fact.

So, today's Friday. That makes it three Fridays in a row where school was not involved. I'm a very lucky individual. Indeed i am.

The play opes tonight. I don't know if we're going, but i hope we will. Maybe next week. Maybe the night of my birthday. I hope so. Yay.

I had an idea of seeing Dan in Real Life for my birthday too. Because i believe Steve Carrell is amazing. If you don't believe so...die in a box.

Now i think i need a job more than i needed one yesterday. 94/7 has announced their December to Remember shows, and The Shins are playing one of those nights. I must go, or i'm afraid i might die. SOMEONE GET ME A JOB NOW! PLEASE!

Playtime For the Young and Rich

Is what i hope to have. Someday...when i get that sweet ass job.

No joke. I need a job more than i need almost anything right now. I want to work in retail. Someplace where i can kind of be myself. I don't want to work at crazy Burgerville like Liz does. I think se's woring (or at least wants to) at the new Famous Footwear that's about to open in the Esplenade. I think if i work anywhere there, it would either be Gamestop or Blockbuster. Hell, maybe Dollar Tree even.

I just want some darn money.

So, i have an eye appointment tomorrow morning, which means i'll probably miss the first half of school, or t least a good portion of it. That's somewhat unfortunate, but it also means get new glasses, which makes me bounce.

Seriously, if you don't wear glasses, you don't know the joy that comes with getting new frames 'n' lenses. It's outstanding. My lenses are really old. The protective coating on the front is coming off like...something that does that quickly. And the frames are really meh to me. I liked them when i got them, but they kind of grated on me for some reason. And they're really loose, so they fall off pretty much at the drop of a hat. So, to make a long story short: new glasses = good times. Even better: new glasses = new beginnings...for good times.

We Came, We Saw, We Sold Kettle Corn

The homecoming game was last night. It was cold, sure, and rainy, but it was pretty fun. For me anyway.

We got there, waited for someone for a while, and then we watched the game for a bit. At almost halftime, i saw Ben selling kettle corn. I wanted to help. I asked him if i could, he said i could. And...i did. And it was amazing.

Of course, there was the ususal, "Buy some kettle corn, it's only three dollars. And it goes to a great cause." And then there's the "1 in every 5 bags of this kettle corn will give you magical powers." And "Abe Lincoln rose from the dead to try our kettle corn." As i said, it was amazing. We also did a speical Kettle Corn Remix of F This S. Also, Hilhi won 56-0 against Park Rose. If doesn't spell C-O-O-L, i have no idea what does, my friends.

Shifting Destiny and Other Endeavors

Last night was the choir concert. Yeah, i was nervous, and no one at my house knew how to tie a tie to save their lives, but i was fine with it. I was looking every so spiffy with my newly acquired Goodwill clothes from the weekend before, and i was ready to do some business.

We got there a few minutes before call time. We went to the choir room, signed in, and waited for others to arrive. When they finally did, we warmed up, ran through our songs, and sat down in the theatre and waited for the show to begin. People came up, said things, and we started off.

Our first set was the African folk songs set. A couple songs after, the Hilhi Singers (including me) went up and did ours. Twas nice. Song there, song here, then our first mass choir song. I think it was our best by far.

Next was "Songs of the Heart". Which included my least favorite song, "You'll Be in My Heart." Yes, from Tarzan. Why was it my least fave? It was hard on my voice, and it almost hurt.

Well, we did that ruthless number, and Encore did "Peanut Butter and Jelly." Which was an awesome song. If you get the chance to hear it, please do. Awesome.

Finally, our opera choruses. Which included "the hammer song", in which members of Encore would hit things with hammers. Apparently, two of the guys who were supposed to hit something couldn't find what they were supposed to hit. Here's how the conversation went down, according to one of the party in question.

"We can't find the thing! Ben, what do we do?"
"Hit me in the head."

And so he did.

We closed with Va Pensiero, which was another mass piece. Twas also nice. After that, we were free to go, and we went. Got home, watched The Office, which was pretty nice, and pretty pretty, too.

After that i torrented Under the Blackight by Rilo Kiley. I've heard all of it, and it is pretty good. And i've just realized that Silver Lining is an amazing song.

So, the homecoming game is tonight. I'm very happy for that. The only downside? I might be too tired to watch Austin City Limits tonight. With THE DECEMBERISTS and Explosions in the Sky. I might be too tired, and this makes me sad.

Well, whatever, i'm recording it and keeping it forever anyway, so...

Sans Robe

The choir concert is tomorrow. Because i'm in measly Hilhi Singers, i don't get a precious robe.

I had to get clothes from Goodwill last weekend. I succeeded. It was quite nice.

So, i've been getting back into torrenting. So far, last weekend, i got the soundtrack to Across the Universe. And just last night, the first two Architecture in Helsinki abums. I've started listening to In Case We Die first. It's good times, from what i've heard. The third came out yesterday. Must get it.

My Favorite Office Season 3 Moment

Seeing Things/I Lied

The new Fall TV season has started, and i'm giving rating of what i've seen so far.

Chuck:
A computer nerd accidentally discovers all of the government's secrets. Very entertaining and funny. B+

Reaper:
A young man finds his parents sold his soul to the devil when he was a baby. Now he has to work for him by sending escaped sould back to Hell. A-

Kid Nation:
Kids rule a small town. Some people are brats, and the host is an ubercreep. But still enjoyable. B-

Pushing Daisies:
A man has the ability to touch a dead thing and bring it back to life. The best so far. After only one episode. A

Blah blah, i think that's it.

PS> I lied. I have things to talk about.

Me and my friend have written a song. We've sung it in one of classes and at lunch a few times. And i've herard people singing it throughout school. Our intention is to record it in audio and maybe video form, and put it on Myspace/Youtube. It will sell billions o'dollas.

In The Wake of Saturday

Wow, two titles in a row related to Fall Out Boy songs? This doesn't look that good.

Well, i woke up today, and i just wanted to stay in bed all day, and not talk. To anybody. Reminiscent of Eric from That 70's Show when he broke up with Donna. Remember that? Anyway, i was just feeling like that. I didn't break up with anybody though, so that's good i guess.

Well i got up again after eating breakfast. I woke up to find my mom and sister looking at online offers on phones.

So, i'm getting a new phone officially. It's only a matter of time. So...yay.

I'm getting the SCP-3200 by Sanyo in black. It looks decent. Does anyone know if it sucks or not? Cuz that would be a good help, if i were told.

Anyway again, i guess nothing's going on this weekend. I'm feeling okay now, that might change, but nobody knows.

Which Came First? The Music or the Misery?

Alot, and i when i say alot, i really do mean alot, has gone on in the past few days. But i don't want to talk about it. That's why i haven't been posting in a few days.

I just don't want to talk about it. Don't ask me about it, i won't respnd.

Sometimes i get sick of myself, when i'm hiding behind this veneer of happiness, when i'm feeling awful inside. I make people think i'm fine, but i'm really not. I guess that's why i'm probably going to remain the kind of person who'll only have girls as friends and not more, because only a few people know i'm capable of real emotion.

I don't know whay i'm feeling this way. Or maybe i do, and i'm just not saying it. I can't really explain what i'm feeling. Sad is definitely on the list. I'm not feeling hrt, or angry or anything. I guess it's just an empty feeling. There's something missing in my life. And it seems like i'm going to wait for a long time before whatever's missing gets found.

Alright, i think i'm done being emo. With me, it's that whenever i write what i'm feeling, it goes away. I hope it works this time.

I Just Busted My Keaton.

Well, today sure was exciting.

I went to school, right? And i went to tech theatre, right? Anyway, i went, and as i was running back Jack Bauer-style with my paper towels, and...i slipped and fell. It was such a Vaudevillian fall, i swear. I even laughed. It felt quite painful though, as it now hurts to put weight on my knee. My entire right side hurt, but i was prefectly fine.

And i still am. Nothing much else happened. I didn't fail my Biology test! There's that...um...i have nothing else. Sorry.

Pep? You Got It.

Pep assembly #2 was today.

They threw out candy, and the team competition was tight, son. Faces covered in shaving foam, and cheesy poofs thrown everywhere. Fall Out Boy's "Hum Hallelujah" being played during. It was kickass.

And as i sit here, listening to random crap, i'm thinking, "I need to take a shower." Because i do, my friends...i do.

Ohhh yeah, by the way, the season premieres of My Name is Earl and The Office are tonight. They're both one hour. There's going to be laughs coming out of every second. It's gonna be amazing. I hope. I already know The Office will, so i'm good.

I wish i had something exciting, even remotely, going on in my life.

Well, Tech Theatre is getting slowly awesome. Painting and drawing lines on walls with levels? Piece of cake.

English is getting repetitive, but it's easy, so i'm okay with it.

Last week, i was about ready to do work in the computer lab for Biology, when i found out i STILL didn't have a computer account. Boo. I talked to the guy from the librar, and he sent an email to the district. I went back in today, not expecting to log in, and i did. I was happy. That's prety much the only exciting thing that happened to me all week so far.

I bought coffee today! Now that's it.

I sure hope my week ends up being cool.

Oh, Turns Out I Have Somewhat of a Life

My dad's friends are coming over on Saturday, so i have something to do! Holy crap indeed.

A thing i noticed a few days ago: Arcade Fire likes to use French lyricas in some songs. I'm going to pursure these all, and translate them. Right now. Oh wait, i'm writing this.

I'm really thinkijg about starting those stories from English elsewhere, like on DeviantART, i really want to. So why don't i do it?

So, club kickoff day was today, and i signed up for 3 freaking clubs. Some Choir thing, the Thespian Club, and The Gay/Straight Alliance. I have no idea how i'll juggle all 3, but i'll find a way.

I wish i had more things to say. I guess my life's pretty boring when school goes on. I wish cool things happened at school. .

Well, Let's Go Ahead and Sum Up the Worst Two Days of My Week.

Seriously, what could have been worse?

Thursday: I started in second period, when we went to go take pictures. I cannot get over how bad mine looks. What's with my high school pictures? Honestly, it's driving me nuts. I looks like an idiot. A bleeding fool!

Then lunch came. We had to buy lunch because we had nothing in our freaking house. The line took about 20 minutes to get through. Then we had a good .001 seconds left to eat. I was shoving food i kinda didn't like in my face.

That's pretty much all from Thursday.

Today: I woke up, and was just angry about everything. And everybody. I was angrey and confused (mostly as to why i was angry). It was probably just dude PMS or something. Let's hope it was that, and not that i just all of a sudden turned emo.

I expect Saturday and Sunday to be exactly the same. I have nothing to do, of course. Like always. I just need to learn to stick to my plans, and follow through with them. Help me please.

Well, i hope something at least remotely exciting happens.

Duuuuuuude...

Well. I had to do that. It's post 420, so...haha.

So, after a week of schooling (even though this post says Tuesday, i wrote it on Wednesday), here's a little summity uppity of my classes

1: I'm not doing anything yet, but i will tomorrow. I think i'll be painting.

2: My 2nd favorite class. It goes by pretty fast, and that's a good thing.

3: Fun times, i must say.

4: Boring, and the teacher, i am convinced, is absolutely insane.

5: Easy, so awesome.

Wow, okay...that's it. Except today is my parents' 20th anniversary. That pretty much freaking rules.

Weak.

So, i have to find myself yet another building on Wednesday. Freaking Biology labs...and lab reports.

So, in English, we do this thing everday where we're given a sentence stem, and we are supposed to start writing freehand for 15 minutes after writing it.Today's was "I remember..." and i started what i think is going to be a pretty fricking awesome story. I'm planning on putting it on my DeviantArt, but knowing me, i 98% likely won't. Why? I suck, that's why.

Delivering the Promise

A day late, mind you, but still...

Alright, Thursday was pretty fricking sweet.

It was the day when i decided that so far, Choir was better than Tech Theatre. We're doing fun things in Choir now, and we're so far just reading about things in TT.

It was an okay day from then until the end, where i saw my best friend ever Sarah. We caught up some, and then Liz and I went home

Friday: Meh, That's what the day made me feel like. Although, i did not get lost on the way to class. So...yay for me. I wouldn't have gotten lost on Thursday, but the nurse just had to talk to me, and me having to go to her office and back to the MS building.

I just thought about tyhis? Why aren't there any male school nurses? In my life, I've never seen or even heard of a male being the school nurse. I don't know, i think there should be at least some, right?

Well, auditions for the fall play are on Monday, so i'm actually thinking about going.I don't really know though. It really depends. On what? i Have no clue, but whatever.

Highschool V 2.0

Hilhi. What a cool plcace already.

Tesday: Orientation. I got there, we organized into groups. I went with my crazy transfer student group, and headed around, being brought to the different buildings of the school. So organized, the buildings are. Social Studies, Math/Science, Drama/Music, and Language Arts all have their own buildings. It's pretty freaking cool.

So, when that ended, Liz, Cody and I went to Burgerville, and then back home. 'Twas a nice day.

Tuesday: First official day.

1st period: There are some cool people in there. Tech Theatre by the way. Athough the class hasn't really picked up yet. Some people i know too.

2nd: English. There are some people i know in there too. It's pretty cool. We haven't really started the curriculum yet in there either. I don't thikn we do until Monday.

3A: Choir. So far, it's better than Tech Theatre. It's just me and another dude.

3B: Lunch. I sit with Liz and cronies for now.

4: Biology. One of my friends is in there too. I'll talk to hewr when i can.

5: The very first day, we did some get-to-know-you excersizes. I met some pretty cool people. So...yay.

I'll give you Today and Friday tomorrow.

Anything's on (MyspaceTV), Vol. 3

Myspace has become my favorite place to find obscure SNL videos.

I just got the idea to look for this, and i didn't have any luck finding a decent quality one on YouTube, so i hopped on over to Myspacetv.com, where i also found whole episodes of Wonder Showzen and the Hot Plates SNL sketch.

I found it. And as i remember it, it is the funniest thing i've seen in my life.

I Got No Seams!

It seems as though the [adult swim] series 12 Oz. Mouse will be released on DVD sometime in the near future.

I used to watch the show, but i guess i missed a couple of episodes, and thought nothing of it. I thought it was another one of those shows that didn't necessarily have a plt. To my disappointment, oh yes it did.

In the beginning of the second seaason, i was thoroughly confused as to what was going on, "Why are the characters doing this?" and, "What happened to make this happen?" were frequent questions i asked myself. I was completely lost and just a little bit angry that i had no idea what happened to one of my once favorite [adult swim] shows.

So today, i just got the news that says that it will be released on DVD someti me not long from now. And there will be an option to see it all as a seamless movie, with no breaks in between the episodes. Finally i can see all of it from start to finish. I'll hav to library it or something, because i don't know if i'll waste my money on it or not.

'Sept Ember.

Tomorrow starts September. An okay month, in my opinion. And that's pretty much the only reason i titled this post with that particular one.

Anyway, can anyone gues where i went yesterday??

No? Okay, fine then. I went to the doctor. It was the first time we'd seen each other in 2 years, so it was nice. She had had a baby the year before. So, we quickly caught up somewhat, and then i got test results done. It was a very easy day.

However!! At some point in the next few weeks/months(?), i have to get blood work done! Oh goody. If you know that much about me, you know i despise bloodwork to it's very deep core. Just the though of someone sticking a very painful needle in the crook of my elbow and extracting blood from it conjures up painful memories in my mind. Well, i didn't have to do it yesterday, so i was thoroughly relieved. Maybe some day i'll just be like, "Hey, let's go remove some blood from my arm, and have it hurt duing the process. And also, let's get me a peice of medical bandage/tape and a wad of cotton on my arm that i'm not supposed to remove but is really annoying!"

Okay, sone with that hoosteroo. (I'm just getting the southern out of me. Actually, i think it's already out, or it never went in, thank god. I was just saying it to be ironic, and if you know where the word comes from, i applaud you."

Alright, so i just got my medical ID neclace in the mail. It's not my offical ID tag, but it's just something that will do for now. It has an extremely long chain on it that makes me look like a fool. "I HAVE DIABETES, PLEASE TEST MY BLOOD BEFORE TREATING ME" is displayed on the front of the smallest pendant ever. I mean, in comparison to the chain, it's ridiculous. I should totally take a picture or something, but now i'm not going to, because i said i should.

Anyway, on the subject of small things, i go back to school officially on Wednesday. I go for orientation on Tuesday, because i don't know where crap is at Hilhi yet. And no, i won't be glombed in with the freshmen, i'll be in a seperate group of nerwbies, thank god again. I'd look like a giraffe at a hamster festival. A VW bus amongst a crowd of go-karts. A luxury yacht next to a rowboat. Three examples is enough, let's move it along.

Along to nothing else, because nothing else is happening. Alrght, i'll probably do a sidey before Tuesday or something. Now read this.

16) You're basically the first friend i had in Columbia. I trust you almost more than anybody. I'm sorry i haven't really called you in a while. You're my best friend, and i should act like you are.

17) Yeah, i'm talking about you again. Because i can't say anything bad about you. Ever. Not to say i'm looking for things that i don't like about you, because i'm not. Because i don't think i ever will find something bad about you, if if i did even think about looking for something. I love you, you know that.

18) You know what? I'm actually one of the smart people who does like you, and people who don't neede to learn alot more.

19)You need to leave her alone. I'm sorry, she's asked you a number of times, or so i'm told. And you still haven't followed through with it. If i were there, i'd be tempted to punch you in the face. I kind of am right now. You just really make me angry.

20) Could you hurry up? You're going to drive me mental over the next few years. Literally, i'll be in a padded room, counting.

Gimme Dat 411 (In-Depth Comprehensive Reportation! (Oaks Park Edition))

So, here's what happened.

Mom came home. We got ready. My sister's friend Cody came over, because he was coming with us. We all hpped in the car, popped in the latest mic CD i made, and drove off. We got directions from Google Maps, that weren't the clearest directions in the world.

So, we were lost for a few minutes. That was sure fun.

We finally got there and immediately went around to the picnic area to eat. I got some chicken, which the nastiest bee in the world would not leave alone. I would've punched it in the face, but it was way too fast.

After, we found the cooler with assorted ice creams, and got some. Then we trolled away to ride fun things.

So, we did that. My mother and i watched in horror as my sister and her friend rode the Screaming Eagle, which looks like the most horribly nauseating ride ever. I think they're still nuts for riding it...twice.

While they were riding it the first time, i met my mom's friend, who was only slightly intoxicated. Slurred speech and all. We all made a pact that we were all riding the roller coaster together. Right then and there. We had ridden it before. But this time it was with that man and his wife.

I have to say, it was not as fun the second time, as my back was slammed against the back of the car. It did hurt a bit.

After, we all got in line for popcorn, they had run out, and we were waiting for some new.

After that, we decided our finale was going to be the Ferris Wheel. The man operating said wheel was crazy. He was slightly chubby and had a beard, and was bald. And old. He kind of looked like a rumply old sea captain. It thought he was going to kill us.

After, we all drove home, and that was the end of an extremely seemingly long day.

Vietnam, Fish and Chips, Italian Opera

I'm in love with Hospital Beds by Cold War Kids. 'Tis a great song.

Wow, i'm ecstatic as i'll ever be right now. Getting metal-neck from DragonForce. Why? Because in the beginnigng of December, The Decemberists play three, count them, three shows in Portland. Decemberists as an early Christmas present? Yes please.

It's for their new "The Long and Short of It" tour. One night, The Long of It, will include all of their songs over 8 minutes, and the other, The Short opf It, includes shorter ones, which are yet to be announced.

I'm pretty sure i have enough money for ticket action. I might blow my face off if i don't get them. Seriously. And not two hours ago, i felt horribly sick to my stomach.

So, tomorrow night is my mom's company picnic at Oaks Park, Pretty much Oregon's only amusemnt park. It will be oodles of funcakes. Simply oodles. Rides a-plenty. Can you say, "Tilt-A-Whirl"? Because i sure can.

I think i shall have to give you In-Depth Comprehensive Reportation on Saturday. In the meantime, i'll be looking for ideas for side-posts. I think i have one already.

Leaps and Bounds

In the past few days, i've made many daring decisions and hit some milestones.

Yesterday, i saw my first theater R-rated movie. Superbad, and it was way worth it, too. For my mom's birthday. For some parts, i kinda pretended she wasn't there, but i loved it. Michael Cera was so so good in this movie, i'm completely serious. I'd gavce it a rating of a A.

And i've made some long overdue changes in style. I got a slim fit Hellogoodbye shirt and some thight-in-the-leg pants. I've wanted them for a while. Oh yeah, we went school shopping today. Actually, today was part 1 of shopping, we're planning on the rest next weekend.

All i got were the shirt, the pants, a belt and some pens and paper. I'm probably going to get some shoes next weekend, and a bag, cuz i need one of those too. And a cool one, cuz two-strappers have officially entered the weird list in my mind.

And just a few minutes earlier, i took some dares in my class choices. I might be taking Musical Theatre or Hilhi Singers this year. So...be proud of my bravery, or the little of it i have.

Alright, see you later.

Anything's On Youtube, Volume 2

This edition brings us a nice name change. Yeah, wasn't the last one too long? Me and my chronic laziness don't want to type it all.

Anyway, the featured video is a student project music video for Eli, the Barrow Boy by The Decemberists.

Of all the incredibly crappy fan-made videos, i found an actual good one, believe it or not. I was treading /orate once and people were talking about this, and saying it was good, and i thought, "Why not?" I watched it, and was impressed, surprisingly to me.

Alright, here we go. Be prepared to maybe cry.

Barcode Madness

Yesterday, after waiting for four things to be held at the library, we finally went there.

Liz wanted to find a book, and she knew which one. But, she did not have the knowledge of which section it was in. Since holds were self pick-up now, a fact that i found amazing, i was armed with four items, walking up and down the library looking like some sort of book nerd. Well, i did only have 1 book, and also, 2 DVDs and a CD. I'll get to those later.

So we went to the self checkout station, and after lookingh for the barcodes on the various items, i checked them out. Looking for barcodes, and then scanning them is not an easy task. But you feel quite cool when you do it.

The items i brought home with me were:

  • American Gun (DVD)
  • I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence - Amy Sedaris (book)
  • Thumbsucker (DVD)
  • Pretty Little Head - Nellie McKay (CD)
I watched American Gun last night. It's very good, i'd recommend it. It does have alot of good folks in it too. Forest Whitaker, Marcia Gay Harden, Schuyler Fisk, Christopher Marquette, Donald Sutherland, and others. It made me cry almost twice. Okay, it actually did make me cry twice. I admitted it, you happy?

Pretty Little Head is Nellie's second album. Her first was much better, but this one's definitely good too.

I haven't watched Thumbsucker yet, i intend to tonight.

I Like You is a book on hospitality, and it is very funny. She talks about kids' parties and it has a list of games for the children to play, and it's hilarious.

OK, that's all i have to say about the haul at the 'brary.

Oh yeah, and possibly a YCLFAOY today, i don't know though.

You Can Literally Find ANYTHING on Youtube. Vol. 1

Oh yes, i'm planning on making this a new thing. I'm hoping to do it at least once every two weeks.

Anyway, i shall give numerous examples of how anything possible can be found on youtube. Actually, this will probably happen every time something really random pops into my head and i wonder if it's on youtube, then it is.

This Volume's featured video is the theme song to the British comedy Two's Company. About an American author who hires a British butler, and hilariousness does ensue. I guess. I've only seen it once or twice, and it doesn't even run on PBS anymore. I'd only watch it for the song.

Anyway, here you go. Enjoy.

This Mr. Misses

I miss alot of people, and some of those people will not be missed anymore.

Why not? Not because i've decided to shun them for eternity, but becausei'm almost going back to school.

To see my friends that i had before i moved.

I actually am quite looking forward to seeing them in a few weeks. School starts on the 5th of September, and we need to make an appointment with the counselor to get our classes. Here's hoping i don't have to take theatre 1 again. With all the weird freshmen. [queeze]

404'd!

That was kind of the obvious way to go with this one.

Anydangway, i might be the happiest person alive right now.

I mean, i've never said that without deeply meaning it before, and i did last night. It was the best night of my life, no doubt in my mind it was.

I know that i mean it in my heart and soul.

I swore long ago that i wouldn't be one of those people who totally get lost in love, but i can't help but do it now. I'm completely satisfied with my whole life. I have something to live for.

This is like an awakening for me, or something. I'm going to be so happy with everything, if something tries to stop me, i'll gladly shoot it down with my joyous joy. Alright, that sounded dorky.

I'm at risk of being more dorky and cheesy, so i'll leave now.

Freaking Grass

Having to grow and such. It's like, i can't go a week with out mowing a lawn.

Mowing lawns might be my least favorite chore to take care of. Although i do hate vacuuming because at the end my back hurts. But after lawn-mowing, i have these burns on my hands. Well, not like burns, like i burned them. It's like the feeling you have when you fall down on pavement. I have no idea why, but after, it's all over both of my hands.

Well, at least it's our lawn, so i don't have to mow the huge lawns of my grandparents. Seriously, have you seen their front lawn? It's fricken huge.

Oh, Yes. One of These Again

1) Words can't express to me how amazing i think you are. Everything you do and everything you are just blows me away. As soon as we're done talking on the phone, I miss you. Seriously, talking to you will always be the highlight of my week. You don't haveany clue how much i think you should get away from that shitty town of yours.

2) Now, don't get me wrong, i think you're awesome, but you are as ignorant as you are awesome. The things you say about certain subjects is, pardon my French, but they are so incredibly stupid that sometimes i really wonder why i'm even friends with you, but i still am. It almost makes me sick.

3) I really really wish we'd have hung out more when we had the chance. That one day was literally one of the best days of my life. I wish i could've stayed forever.

4) I deeply wish i would've hung out with you at least once. I think you are one of the coolest people i know, seriously. I love you, and the person you are.

5) From the short time i knew you, i know right now, you are going to go places. And to big places as well. You impressed me so much and i can't believe i got a chance to know you. When you're big and everything, i'm going to tell my kids that i knew you way back when.

6) Oh, you. You can't go anywhere without making some stupid comment with no evidence whatsoever to back it up. I have no idea what happened to you. And try to let other people think for themselves too, and not spew your opinion venom at people.

7) I don't think you can be in a situation that's serious. And i've never ever seen you carry on an intellegent conversation. But i know in my heart you're a smart person, and that's what makes me sad about this.

8) Stop. You're totally not funny, so stop.

9) You're the biggest inspiration to me think i've ever had. You're honestly like a third grandmother to me. You made me want to embrace what i'm all about and tell everybody who doesn't like it to fuck off. I really do love you for that. After this year, i know deep down that i'm meant to do this and that i was born for thisI think this will take my life to completely new and thoroughly exciting places.

10) I really want to thank you for all your support through this year. I thank jeebus everyday that you're not that kind of person that shuns somebody else just because they want to do something you don't think they should.

11) You need to learn what love is. You think what you have now is love, i think it's sickening and ridiculous. Did you ever at all notice how uncomfortable i was around you? I felt like such an outsider, all the time. I know you tried a little to not do it, but not enough. At least you tried.

12) Oh, my god. You need a complete personality transplant. Nobody at all likes you. Do you hear me? Nobody at all. Not even me. I've been tolerant of you and people like you for a while, and i know that i've been tolerant for way too long. Next time you try and talk to me, i'll just walk away and pretend i didn't hear you.

13) I wish i would have talked to you alot more than i did. I actually thought you were quite cool. But you take my condescending jokes too seriously. I don't think i like that. Learn to laugh, person.

14) I really cannot wait to see you. I've heard so much about how great you are. I just hope you aren't as bad as i think you're going to be. I hope.

15) Sometimes i think you're a horrible person, but right now, i think you're going to turn things around and make yourself a much better person than you were a year ago. Because you pretty much have to.

I'm only doing 15. 20's too many. Or i might do the other 5 later.

Oh wowties. The Flight of the Conchords EP came out today. I want it. It's only 5 bucks on Amazon, if someone wants to buy it for me...wink.

So, a while ago, i put about 54907546 things on hold at the library. And i wants them nowsss.

Yes i do. Word, indeed

Quadracentennial

As of right now, i'm writing my 400th blog post.

I'm actually i got to share with you the past few hectic years of my life. I mean, honestly. I've covered two whole moves across the whole freaking country. That's a whole lot of goings-on in 2 years. And i can safely say, that i'm completely done with moving across the country. For real. For good. But if some people from SC wanna come move here, they're a whole lot more than welcome to do so. Honestly, i want you to experience how awesomely beautiful Oregon is. You'd not believe how amazing Portland is. We have better drivers, better language, bettter education. OK, i'm going to stop myself before i get carried away. Because i will. See? It's so good here, that i might get carried away talking about it!

OK, i went on the IFC website to see if i can watch the season premiere of The Business. I couldn't, they didn't have it up. But, i did see that they have the DVD os the first sasnon for sale. Also, the first season DVD of the Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman. Both excellent shows. Now that i know they exist, i want them ever so badly.

Also, i just read the first 3 or so chapters of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I'd finished the 6th book the night before. Freaking Dumbledore, having to die on me like that. Bastard.

PS: If any spoilers are found ihn the comments section of this post, i will personally come to your house, shave your arm hair with a butter knitfe, and rip your eyes out with a spoon. And cut you open with a plastic fork. It's weird how all of these involve silverware. I didn't actually mean for that to happen. Huh.

Animal Crackers

Today, my mother, aunt, cousin, sister and I went to the Celebrate Hillsboro Festival, i guess that's what it was.

Anyway, we went there, and i suppose now they're doing this thing every year where they set a world record of some sort. Last year it was "Most People Wearing Balloon Hats," and this year, it just so happened to be "Most People Wearing Groucho Marx Glasses." Oh yay. Of course, me being the cooly dude i am, i participated, and now i have my own pair of glasses. To keep. Forever.

That makes me happier than a...thing that's happy...

So, that's the only thing i did today. But, we might go over to my other aunt's house to see my cousin, who's birthday was the other day.

Wow, nothing else to say...Oh well.

August And Burrows

Yes, my homie G's, it has become the month of August.

If i still lived in SC, i wuold be going to school on the 20th, but, i'm cool, so i start in September like a cool person would do.

But there is a downside to starting in September. I won't be able to talk to Casey every night for longer. Freaking South Carolina. She's like, awesome though! It upsets me to a big degree. I guess Friday and Saturday are going to be the highlights of my week.

I don't know if i've told you this yet, but i'm really afraid tat the drama/theatre department here at Hilhi is going to suck. I doubt it will be, but i know it will be alot different from last year. I just hope it's not as bad as i think it'll be. Hey, i'm bound to make friend with at least one mre person, right? Let's hope so. I'm a sophomore now, so i have more cred, i guess.

Speaking of sophomores, i found out i don't have to take ninth grade again. Why? Because you only need 3 math credits to graduate. So, i guess i've used up my year with 0 math credits already. So, haha, universe. You've done it again!

I want to dig a hole. I think we have a shovel, and i haven't dug one hole in who knows how long. If we don't have a shovel though, i don't think i'll be happy. Boo.

I just looked on Yahoo Movies, and it said that Once is playing at Fox Tower 10, so...take me there now, please.

I hope this is the plan for Mom's brithday: On the day of, her, Liz and I go see Superbad. Because it looks amazing. It has Michael Cera from Arrested Development, and Bill Hader, and Seth Rogen. It just looks really good, thank you.

OK, that appears to be all of it. Byesies.
